What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wrestling Coach - High School position at Bridgeport-Spaulding Community School District?
Preferred Qualification Requirements:
1. Coaching experience
2. Technical knowledge of all aspects of coaching wrestling
3. Ability to work with athletes of diverse skill levels and socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
4. Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
5. Provide leadership in athletics
6. Establish effective working relationships with athletes, colleagues, families and the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide organizational direction and administration for the wrestling program
2. Be aware of conference and state rules governing wrestling programs
3. Develop an off-season conditioning and strength program
4. Monitor academic progress of students involved in the program and assist in promoting these athletes to further their education beyond high school
