Preferred Qualification Requirements :
- Coaching experience
- Technical knowledge of all aspects of coaching wrestling
- Ability to work with athletes of diverse skill levels and socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
- Provide leadership in athletics
- Establish effective working relationships with athletes, colleagues, families and the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide organizational direction and administration for the wrestling program
- Be aware of conference and state rules governing wrestling programs
- Develop an off-season conditioning and strength program
- Monitor academic progress of students involved in the program and assist in promoting these athletes to further their education beyond high school
