Bridgestone HosePower, LLC has been the Premier distributor of hydraulic and industrial hose products for over 39 years. Due to current, as well as projected growth, HosePower is looking for a business savvy, team and action oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Orange Park, FL based Corporate Accounting Team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist you will apply basic principles of accounting to perform a variety of accounting activities to include maintaining accounting records and reports, receiving, processing and posting payments on accounts, answering accounting questions and resolving account issues, maintaining valid sales tax exemption certificates, and assisting with any sales tax inquires. Also responsible for participating in the collections of delinquent accounts.

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Function as an individual contributor by receiving, processing and posting payments, setting up accounts for payment, and assisting with inquiries/account research.
• Verify and files tax exemption certifications; processes sales tax adjustments.
• Completes portal invoicing and electronic invoice uploading; sends out billing statements.
• Post customer payments received from Lockbox and/or ACH, and processes physical checks with desktop deposit.
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, etc. to answer questions and resolve any payment issues.
• Process credit card payments received and maintains the credit card settlement account.
• Monitor accounts receivables support email account and researches and responds to inquiries.
• Review cash logs from branches.
• Review account activity and provides reports to management.
• Collect on accounts that are past the account’s payment terms.
