We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this role, you will manage customer billing, collections, and account reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming payments. You will play a key role in maintaining financial health by reducing outstanding receivables and fostering positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities:
Generate and distribute customer invoices and account statements promptly.
Monitor and manage the collections process, following up on overdue accounts via phone, email, and mail.
Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile accounts to resolve any discrepancies.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies and billing issues efficiently.
Prepare and maintain aging reports and provide regular updates to the finance team.
Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve customer billing issues.
Assist in month-end closing processes, including account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
Recommend improvements to the AR process to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred).
Experience: 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
Pay Details: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
