Description
BridgeValley is seeking a skilled and flexible Substitute Dentist to join our practice for day shifts, ranging from 6 to 8 hours. This role requires providing high-quality dental care on an as-needed basis, with a schedule that includes no nights or weekends. Ideal candidates should have a current dental license, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to adapt to varying patient needs and practice environments. Actual pay will be commensurate with education and experience.
Examples of Duties
- Clinical Oversight : Supervise and guide dental hygiene students during clinical procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and high standards of care.
- Education and Mentorship : Teach and support students in their clinical skills development, offering constructive feedback and facilitating learning opportunities.
- Quality Assurance : Monitor and review student performance and patient outcomes to ensure compliance with clinic protocols and quality standards.
- Collaboration : Work closely with faculty, staff, and students to promote a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Professional Development : Stay current with advancements in dental practices and integrate new techniques into the clinic's protocols as appropriate.
- Radiographic Duties : Read, interpret, grade, and assist students with landmark and pathology identification.
- Examination Duties : Provide comprehensive dental examinations, pathology consults, and referrals as indicated.
- Administrative Duties : Monitor student progress and maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
