What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time/ Adjunct Instructor- Process Technology position at BridgeValley CTC?
BridgeValley Community and Technical College invites applications for adjunct (part-time) positions to serve in the Academic Affairs Division. These individuals will be responsible for the instruction of credit courses and maintaining lab equipment/areas as assigned. These positions will also be responsible for instruction of accelerated courses when applicable. Courses include process equipment, process systems, process operations, water/wastewater, quality, process applications and process fundamentals. The standard rate of pay for a three credit hour lecture course is $1,800 per semester with additional stipends for laboratory hours.

- Instruct credit courses by identifying learning outcomes/competencies, developing lesson plans, syllabi and curriculum which establish and communicate clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects.
- Complete required recordkeeping and grade entry for assigned courses.
- Stay in communication with assigned Department Chair and Dean.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or significant experience in chemical/process plants.
Preferred
- Teaching experience.
- Aptitude for using technology and innovative methods for instructional delivery, particularly for Blackboard learning management system.
