Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings such as banquets, nightclubs, restaurants, or upscale casual dining establishments.
Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages to customers following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Upsell drinks and promote specials to increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a banquet, catering, nightclub, or restaurant setting is desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with patrons effectively
- Proficiency in basic math for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Familiarity with retail math for pricing and inventory management
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the food industry is a plus
