Established in 2017 in a renovated 19th century house in Cincinnati’s historic East End neighborhood, The Hi-Mark is a low-key bar and scratch kitchen grill with a laid back atmosphere.
Position: BARTENDER

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Each bartender’s primary objective is to show our guests a friendly, responsive, marvelous time and maintain dining ambiance so they will want to return
- Serves patrons by providing information to help food and beverage selections; presenting ordered choices and answering food preparation questions to identifying patrons special dietary needs and requests then transmits orders to kitchen.
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
- Keeping a good work environment with a positive attitude, and helping fellow staff members keep up with food running and pre bussing tables.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
WORKING EXPECTATIONS:
We expect all of our team members to act in a professional and respectful manner that represents the restaurant and staff well. This includes demonstrating teamwork in all areas of the restaurant and working with a positive attitude in all situations. We can achieve this by communicating clearly with managers and team members. All team members are to follow safety and sanitation rules and laws at all times. This position will require you to lift up to 50 pounds.
