Position: 250025 - Oracle PMO Lead
Location: Hybrid - San Antonio, Texas (3-4 days/week onsite)
The PMO leader will manage the entire program by developing a complete understanding of client’s initiatives, objectives, and projects, and related short/mid/long-term goals and deliverables. The PMO leader will serve as a liaison between business clients and IT Architecture and Service Delivery organizations; consult with clients to analyze business needs; and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
Responsibilities will include facilitation, planning, and integration activities, and the execution of core program management elements: business integration; project scoping; time and cost management; procurement; risk assessment; quality control; change management; preparation of communications and presentations of business process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure coordination of projects within the ERP Program involving multiple cross-functional departments within organizational units.
- Maintain and improve relationships with key product and services providers.
- Develop a thorough understanding of client’s business strategy in this enterprise implementation, help maintain and further develop the correlating strategy and support a cohesive and coordinated technology solutions roadmap.
- Manage the Program portfolio’s activities such as identification of funding and the creation of Program & individual project plans that include: charter; scope; approach; management plans; statement of work (SOW); work breakdown structure (WBS); cost estimates; schedule; performance management baselines; milestones and target dates; risk management and change control plans that ensure alignment with business and strategic objectives.
- Identify and mitigate business functional and technical risks associated with enterprise requirements and proposed solutions.
- Support the planning, analysis, design, evaluation, demonstration, construction, and implementation of a portfolio of programs supporting Oracle implementation objectives.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to cross-functional project teams by establishing goals, negotiating project commitments, and executing multiple initiatives, using a combination of resources to deliver key outcomes with optimum results.
- Develop and manage relationships with clients, solution providers, and other key stakeholders.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business, or related field.
- Experience with a wall-to-wall implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP within a Utility organization, including ERP, EDM, HCM, SCM, CC&B, CX, Primavera.
- 10 years of experience leading projects or directing key business initiatives.
- 5 years of combined experience in any of the following areas: portfolio management; customer relationship management; business integration/alignment; business and/or technology requirement management service/solution delivery; or governance activities.
- 5 years of combined experience leading technology related projects or solutions within or for a utility company.
- 5 years of combined experience in developing Oracle implementation solutions for business units in planning, operations, and engineering segments.
- Experience developing strategic technology plans in support of key business objectives.
- Demonstrated experience achieving desired outcomes and actions through negotiation and influence.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Customer focused and ability to understand and appropriately respond to clients’ business needs.
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing activities, delegating, monitoring assignments, and holding team members accountable for results.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing effectively and collaborating with internal employees, third party entities, and all levels of management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Must demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas; develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity; manage risks appropriately; manage information; and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Must demonstrate effective decision making, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation.
- Must demonstrate strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
Preferred:
- Graduate degree in business, leadership, or relevant technical discipline.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience as a PMO Lead for a utility organization working with end-users to develop business, functional, and technical requirements.
