Position Details:
In addition to the important tasks of assisting with meal preparation, service, and clean up after meals while following safety and sanitation standards, this is an opportunity to work with some very talented people who have fun, enjoy their work, and take exceptional care of our residents and guests.
- Create and place job advertisements on various platforms, including job boards, company websites, partner schools, and social media
- Actively search for and identify potential candidates through a variety of sourcing techniques, to include job postings, networking, career events, online databases, social media, and other methods
- Review and evaluate resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the job requirements and fit with BRC culture
- Schedule and conduct initial phone/video interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their position hiring needs, update job descriptions and advertisements, provide hiring process updates, and offer guidance on recruitment strategies
- Track candidates throughout the hiring process, and maintain accurate status updates within ATS system
- Coordinate the completion of post-offer steps, to include background check, Drug Screening/TB testing, and ensuring a smooth transition through each hiring step
- Assist with the onboarding process, including completing necessary paperwork, orienting new hires, and ensuring a smooth integration into the community
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential candidates, even when there are no immediate openings, to build a strong talent pipeline for future needs, all while promoting BRC’s brand
- Responsible for developing and maintaining successful relationships with local high schools & technical schools and students
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a similar degree preferred, or the equivalent of 3-5 years of similar work experience in recruiting or sales
- One year minimum recruiting experience required; healthcare recruiting experience preferred, previous experience in a customer service position preferred
- Experience in an office setting handling sensitive and confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude to utilize MS Office
- Previous demonstrated experience utilizing an ATS system with experience sourcing candidates
- Strong analysis, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people and personalities
- Exceptional customer service skills including prompt follow-up, attention to detail, active listening, and a helpful compassionate demeanor
- Demonstrated commitment to high professional and ethical standards, maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions with residents, team members and families while upholding the values and mission of BRC
The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, evaluate, and hire top talent for BRC. This role involves working closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, creating job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the offer process. The Recruiter plays a key role in promoting the organization’s culture and values to potential candidates and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey. Additionally, the Recruiter is responsible for maintaining compliance with employment laws and company policies, while continually improving recruitment strategies through data-driven decision-making and market research.
