Bridgeway is seeking a full-time HR Benefits, Payroll and Compliance Manager to work in a fast paced multi task environment.
Bridgeway Academy and Therapy Center is a Columbus, Ohio based nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire the potential and celebrate the ability of every child. We offer an integrated approach to meet each child’s needs. This collaborative effort combines professionals in the fields of music therapy, speech therapy, physical and occupational therapies, behavioral and educational services to include home based services.
The candidate will manage adjustments to staff PTO and sick time banks, review monthly staff benefit census and vendor billing for accuracy, perform benefit enrollments and terminations, manage open enrollment process and communications, update and ensure accuracy of data in HRIS, complete employment verifications, and respond to unemployment requests for information. The candidate will adhere to rules and regulations regarding staff files for our licensing agency, ODJFS and ODE, DODD, and will maintain and ensure all files are in compliance. This will involve tracking professional development requirements, training, education documentation, background checks, and medical forms required to be completed by all employees. Will perform additional compliance filing and perform other HR related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field and have experience working with Payroll & HRIS. The applicant must have a minimum 2 to 3 years of experience working in a human resources work environment and providing support to director level staff. Prior experience working in a non-profit or education childcare setting is preferred but not required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
