We are looking for a qualified and motivated Admissions Coordinator to join our Admissions Team. An individual who possesses strong computer skills, multitasking and interpersonal skills to join our exceptional and welcoming centralized admissions team. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for supporting the hospital liaisons and admissions directors as well as facilitating smooth admissions to the facility.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30AM- 5PM
In this position you will:
- Review all incoming admission face sheets for accurate insurance information
- Complete internal documentation and preparing medical records for admission
- Utilize third party payer websites and telephone to verify insurance benefits and eligibility
- Complete insurance verification forms or documents printed from web sites and ensure all are scanned into document imaging
- Answer inquiries regarding admission to Bridgeway in a timely, enthusiastic, and positive manner
- Develop and maintain a good working rapport with Bridgeway team members within and outside of the department
- Other duties as assigned
Strongly Recommended Skills & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with insurance verification in a hospital or skilled nursing; Post-Acute experience preferred
- Working knowledge of healthcare registration, insurance referral and authorization processes
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with Point Click Care or other electronic medical record system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands on, independent, and motivated!
