Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient's condition every visit and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care options
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Able to provide skilled nursing care services in a home setting
Requirements
- Prior experience in home health or hospice care at a home-setting
- Proficient in HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to perform airway management procedures
- Knowledge of dementia care best practices
- Familiarity with urgent care protocols
- Experience working in nursing homes is a plus
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a home healthcare setting
Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
