This is an exciting opportunity to advise clients on a wide range of federal and state energy regulatory matters, with a focus on renewable energy sectors such as solar, wind, storage, and emerging energy transition technologies, including hydrogen, carbon, electric vehicles, and microgrids.Candidate Profile : JD from an ABA-approved law school with a strong academic record.Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.8 years of substantive experience advising clients on federal and state energy regulatory matters , particularly in renewable energy and energy transition sectors .Experience with oil & gas regulatory matters is a plus .Strong background representing and advising developers, sponsors, lenders, cash equity, tax equity, and other investors on regulatory aspects of complex development and financing transactions .Experience negotiating and reviewing power purchase agreements , interconnection agreements , shared facility agreements , and other key project documents .Familiarity with equity and debt financing structures , mergers and acquisitions , and regulatory compliance issues .Strong client relationship management, project oversight, and senior review capabilities.Excellent communication skills, a team-oriented approach, and a strong work ethic.Key Responsibilities : Advise clients on federal and state energy regulatory issues affecting renewable energy and energy transition projects .Provide counsel on project development , financing , and acquisition transactions , ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.Negotiate and draft key project documents, including power purchase agreements , interconnection agreements , and shared facility agreements .Support clients in navigating regulatory approval processes and compliance matters.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for complex energy projects.Why Join Us?
