Bridgeway Senior Living offers skilled nursing residences for seniors who need more complex care and assistance. We know that compassionate care begins with happy care givers and we are looking to add a compassionate HR Director.
Responsibilities
- Welcome new hires and lead orientation
- Facilitates effective associate relations within the facility
- Manage and maintain confidential employee files
- Administers and interprets Human Resources policies and procedures
- Tracks associate leave of absence
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits
- Assist in creating and coordinating recognition programs or events
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Prepares reports as needed
- Monitors and responds to unemployment and Workman’s Compensation claims
- Audit, enter new hires, terminations, promotions, increases, perform edits in payroll and submit for process
Qualifications
- 2-3 years general experience in the HR field
- Long term or health care industry experience required
- Knowledge of federal and state laws
- Experience with union agreements
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Energetic, professional with exceptional interpersonal skills
