SUMMARY:
Performs basic entry-level bench or line assembly operations and other related manufacturing processes to produce quality products in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing setting. May need access to enhanced job assistance or training as a reasonable job accommodation.

Pay: $25.60- $27.00/ hour

Position: Part-time or Full-time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
  • Sets up and maintains a clean workstation as appropriate for assigned job duties.
  • Performs simple on and two step assembly such as cutting parts to dimension, cleaning, part marking, packaging, labeling, sorting and kitting as directed by supervisor per customer requirements.
  • Self-checks work for quality and completes documentation accurately.
  • Ensures proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Must be able to pass Background check in accordance with Customer Guidelines and Requirements.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Able to hear, read, and comprehend basic instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing using the English language as it relates to manufacturing procedures.
  • Able to communicate questions and concerns.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Preferred basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and email, with preferred ERP experience.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
  • Able to recognize, count, and sort sizes and shapes accurately.
  • Able to accurately measure using scales for both weight and dimension.
  • Able to perform basic math computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Employee with be regularly required to sit and attend an operation for at least thirty-minute segments.
  • May need to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • To bend, stretch, and stand for two-hour segments of time.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • An employee in this position will work in a manufacturing setting.
  • There may at times be odors from cleaning solvents and glues used in production.
  • Noise level is considered moderate.
  • Safety equipment will be provided when required for a specific task or job, including glasses, goggles, respirations, aprons, glove, etc.

About Bridgeways:

Based in Everett, and serving Snohomish County, Bridgeways incorporated in 1981. Bridgeways is run as a social enterprise, offering manufacturing services to companies of all sizes with projects ranging from sourcing, production, assembly, bonding, and wiring. Bridgeways also offers clinical services to adults living with mental health concerns. Services include Supported Housing, Supported Employment, Therapeutic Courts Programs for mental health and substance use disorders. Bridgeways also has a PATH (Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness) program that engages in community outreach. While our array of programs and methods of delivering services has evolved to meet changing community needs, the ever-shifting healthcare landscape, and taking into account services offered by other providers in Snohomish County – our essential mission has remained the same since 1981.
