BridgeWorks Staffing is seeking dependable Caregivers in Pickens & Easley

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Companion Care such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship.
- Personal Care such as such as bathing assistance, hygiene assistance, incontinence care, mobility assistance, feeding assistance, and other personal care services as needed.
- Cognitive Care such as assisting with patients with moderate to severe dementia, including supervision, specialized communication techniques, and management of difficult behavior.
- Interpersonal skills are essential to this role as you may act as a liaison among our clients, their family, and their medical team
Flexible schedules: We have part-time and full-time opportunities available. Weekend availability is required.
- Inform and encourage Residential Consumers to participate and complete their active treatment programs.
- Observes accountability of consumer safety.
- Helps to plan the schedule, assist in maintaining a clean and healthy living environment.
- Documents all necessary information and summaries, monthly progress reports in specified areas.
- Assist with administering medication to Residential Consumers and document after the medication was given in the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
- Adhere to the DDSN Residential Licensing Standards For CTH, SLP, and Policies & Procedures of PCBDSN.
SKILLS
- Valid SC Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to present yourself professionally when representing the DSN Board.
- Must have good organizational skills, motivation, initiative and planning abilities.
- Must work well both individually and as a team member.
- Must be able to work well with others, families and persons served.
- Must possess strong organizational skills complemented with initiative and motivation.
- Must adhere to PCBDSN training and additional training as may be required in this position.
- Be alert and responsive to all health and safety issues.
- Ability to work under supervision.
