Bridging the Gaps is a small residential holistic and integrative facility for drug and alcohol abuse treatment. BTG is expanding our residential department and are actively seeking an individual that is wanting to make a difference by supporting adults in early substance abuse treatment. Our Residential Support Specialists are valued members of our BTG team that provide oversight, safety, and support in our residential houses for the evening and overnight shifts. The overnight position is 11 pm - 9:30 am Sunday night-Thursday night (will only work 4 of these 5 nights though). Cross training on evening shift if required, but permanent shift would be overnight hours.

General responsibilities include:
- Upholds all DBHDS licensure requirements pertaining to the residence;
- Supports and behaves within BTG philosophy and regulations;
- Assists with overseeing and maintaining orderliness, cleanliness, health, and safety standards of the household;
- Oversees safety and wellness of clients and residence during the evening, overnight, and weekend hours;
- Assists in planning and serving of breakfast and dinner (or oversees the same), including cleaning of dining area, kitchen and relevant equipment;
- Provides support to Nutrition Support Staff for helping clients prepare their lunches;
- Administers and documents client nutrients and medications;
- Completes, safeguards, and delivers client paperwork as directed;
- Maintains food and household supply list for adequate quantities and wholesome qualities, designating biodegradable, organic, and fresh foods whenever possible;
- Helps to maintain kitchen and household equipment in good working order;
- Transports clients to local AA/NA meetings and other events as directed;
- Oversees clients at gym or other scheduled activities as directed;
- Performs other tasks and duties as instructed.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma;
- Must attend and pass Board of Nursing Medication Administration training;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check as deemed by DBHDS;
- Ability to pass a urine drug screen of all mood altering substances including marijuana products;
- If applicant declares self to be in recovery, s/he must be free of all mood altering dependency for a minimum of two years.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
