About the Optometric Technician Position
Our new Optometric Technician will be a welcome addition to our team and family who is both personable and welcoming to our patients. A positive attitude and a passion for eyecare are essential to providing the ultimate patient experience.
As an Optometric Technician at Brier Creek Vision Care your job responsibilities will include supporting your team, providing exceptional patient care, assisting providers, evaluating and documenting preliminary screenings and testing: autorefraction, confrontational visual fields, tonometry, corneal topography, pachymetry, color vision plates, stereo testing, visual acuities, retinal imaging, optic nerve scanning, and basic slit lamp use, evaluation of pupils, and extraocular muscles motility Ability to coach patients on insertion, removal, and proper use and care of contact lenses. Additional clerical and administative tasks are included.
