Job Description
CAAR T Cell Research Scientist
Research scientist experienced in generating primary CAAR T cells for use in Graves’ Disease. Will run cytotoxicity, cytokine release, T cell specificity, and other experiments to characterize the function of T cells specific for autoimmune B cells.
What you’ll do in this position:
- Generate primary CAAR T cells
- Run flow cytometry-based experiments
- General lab maintenance
- Analyzing data and recording results and procedures
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or Molecular Biology OR 4 years of immunotherapy development research
- Flow cytometry (preferably with the CytoFlex), primary T cell culture, lentivirus production, T cell isolation with the StemCell system, general cell culture, proficiency with FlowJo, Prism, Adobe Illustrator, Word, Power Point, and Excel
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or Molecular Biology and 2 years of relevant research experience

Compensation Range
Actual compensation based on education and experience
$17.82 - $23.15Required Documents:
