BYU Continuing Education Communications Manager
Continuing Education's (CE) Communications Manager supports communications within CE and external communications with campus partners, university administration, and the Church Education System (CES). The manager fosters positive and effective internal communications. The external communications elevate the reputation of all CE products and programs and promote and strengthen external relations.

BYU Continuing Education Communications Manager

What you'll do in this position:
Internal communications:
- Foster effective, positive internal communications within CE.
- Preserve and promote CE's identity to foster alignment, boost morale, and inform CE employees and partners.
- Working with internal partners, collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to review and improve communications' effectiveness.
- Provide support for internal executive communications.
- Elevate understanding and reputation of CE products and programs on campus and within CES.
- Provide support for executive communications.
- Preserve and promote CE's identity with campus and CES.
- Participate in coordination of brand messaging used with CE, campus, and CES to remain consistent with external messaging and university guidelines.
- Coordinate with in-house and third-party collaborators to review and improve content.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor part-time student employee staff.
- Oversee daily operations and deadlines.
- Manage staff's performance effectiveness, production efficiencies, timeliness, and terminations.
- Provide student experiential learning, professional guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Partner with CE Multimedia Services on graphic content.
Required
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field.
- 4 or more years of work experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field.
- Or the equivalent combination of both education and work experience.
- Master's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field.
