Job Description
Creative Design and Marketing Supervisor (part-time 28 hours / week)
Are you a creative individual? Are you passionate about creating an exceptional digital user experience that grows your audience? Are you skilled in public relations campaigns and digital marketing? Do you thrive in helping students learn to use digital media to tell captivating stories that bolster the community and drive engagement?
The Creative Design and Marketing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production of professional digital media and PR efforts to build an outstanding digital and visual presence for the College of Humanities. This position makes you a key member of the college's Digital Media and Communications team (DMaC).
What you'll do in this position :
This position is 28 hours / week
- Mentoring and Training Student Employees - Supervise and mentor a team of 3-8 student employees, providing hands-on learning experiences in digital media, videography, photography, and design.
- Overseeing the Design of the Humanities Alumni Magazine - Guide the design and production of a high-profile, 32 pages professional publication with a circulation of over 50,000 print and digital copies.
- Direct Public Relations Campaigns - Lead PR efforts, develop visual messaging strategies, and create student engagement initiatives, such as marketing campaigns and promotional events.
- Strategic Project Prioritization - Research, forecast, and prioritize projects based on time, budget, and impact to maximize resources and effectiveness.
- Ensuring High-Quality Design and Innovation -Evaluate student work, maintain consistency in visual communication, and drive innovation in digital and print media strategies.

Compensation Range
Actual compensation based on education and experience
30.42 - $39.51
