Job Title: Linguistics - Introductory Linguistics Adjunct Faculty (110, 201, and 223)

Position Start Date: June 23, 2025
Required Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics or related field required. Master’s Degree in Linguistics or related field preferred.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience: Teaching experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of core linguistic concepts (sounds, structure, meaning), as well as understanding of social, biological and psychological aspects of language. Duties/Expectations: The Instructor will teach the following linguistic classes:
- LING 110, Introduction to Human Languages
- LING 201, Introduction to Linguistics (Modern)
- ELING 223, Introduction to English Language
This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
