Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities while ensuring the well-being of each child in their care.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the developmental needs of children.
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging children's curiosity and creativity through play-based activities.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that meets health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the well-being of the children.
- Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education, including special education needs.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, and preschool education principles is essential.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support children's development effectively.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- A background in special education is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their growth and development.
- Speaking multiple language is a plus
