Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants.
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Plan and facilitate various activities including sports, arts and crafts, theater performances, and educational programs.
- Provide guidance and support to campers, fostering their personal growth and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children in settings such as camps, schools, or childcare facilities is preferred.
- Strong skills in behavior management to effectively handle various situations that may arise.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to support the growth of campers.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff members.
