What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-K Teacher position at Bright Beginnings of South Park?
Seeking experienced Preschool and PreK Teachers!
A PreSchool or Pre Kindergarten teacher is responsible for the safety, care, and education of a group of children along with a co-teacher as part of a teaching team.
The max classroom group size is approximately 16 children - with 2 teachers.
Teachers at Bright Beginnings work together to:
*Create and carry out lesson plans based on children’s developmental level and interest with curriculum and lesson planning software provided. Lesson planning time is paid.
Make learning FUN for the students in your care!
*Observe, Document, and Assess children’s development utilizing Teaching Strategies Gold (paid training upon hiring to learn if not already familiar with)
*Work cooperatively with parents and attend parent teacher conferences as scheduled by the center.
*Maintain a commitment to professionalism, dependability, and ethical conduct.
We are seeking passionate teachers who are dedicated, professional, caring, energetic, team oriented, motivated, communicative, and of course LOVE WORKING WITH PRESCHOOLERS to get them excited about LEARNING!!
Priority is given to those applicants with a Bachelors, Associates, or CDA from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Special Education. We also highly consider and appreciate the value in those who are working to obtain their degree, want to earn their degree, or have at least a High School Diploma with experience at a licensed center/school.
Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain with our help at hiring, all state requirements to work in an early learning center.

We are currently seeking teachers for approximately 7 to 3:30/4 and 8 to 4:30/5.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
