Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Older Infant Teacher to join our team. As an infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of children aged 14 months to 2 years, guiding them through their early educational journey while promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Rhode Island early Learning Deveolpment standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, providing individualized attention to support their unique needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to promote good conduct.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating with parents about their child's growth.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
