Responsibilities :
- Curriculum Development :
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans that promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of infants and toddlers.
- Child Care :
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.
- Supervision :
- Oversee and supervise assistant teachers, ensuring proper care and engagement with children.
- Parent Communication :
- Maintain open communication with parents / guardians regarding their child’s progress and well-being.
- Health and Safety :
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the classroom.
- Assessment :
- Conduct ongoing assessments and observations to track children's development and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Professional Development :
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications :
- Education :
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Preferred : relevant certifications in child development).
- Experience :
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
- Knowledge :
- Familiarity with child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Skills :
- Strong communication skills, patience, compassion, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
