What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Assistant (IIC, in home and community counseling with youths and adolescents) position at Bright Blue Counseling Services, LLC?
Bright Blue Counseling Services, LLC is seeking Behavioral Assistants (BA) to conduct in-home services in Middlesex, Mercer, and/or Burlington Counties. (Bilingual BA’s a plus)
We are hiring for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions. Work as little as 2 hours per week, or up to 40, depending on caseload and your availability.
DUTIES:
- Provide intensive in-community behavioral assistance to children & adolescents (in-home and community).
- Provide supports, skills-building, and psycho-education to children & adolescents and their families.
- Conduct these services based on individualized treatment plans and specific needs.
- Apply behavioral interventions and behavioral management.
- Document counseling sessions (progress notes, etc) via EMR system.
- Attend monthly staff/supervision meetings.
Compensation: $30-40/hour
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a mental health field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid Driver's License, vehicle, and complete background check.
Work Location: In preferred county (Mercer, Burlington, or Middlesex); In client homes and in-community.
