Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Dental Receptionist to join our fantastic office team for 2-3 days per week (Thursday and Friday; optional Tuesday). The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and possess strong communication skills. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office, managing patient interactions, and maintaining accurate records.
Duties
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services offered.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of the providers' time.
- Manage patient records and discuss treatment plans.
- Process patient payments and insurance claims accurately, utilizing knowledge of dental terminology and office management practices.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure outstanding patient care.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor towards patients and staff alike.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of terminology related to dentistry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Softdent is highly desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
