Job Summary
Family owned practice seeks hardworking, detail oriented, individual to join our staff. Please do not apply if you are only seeking temporary employment as we want an individual who is looking for long-term employment.
This position will consist of a variety of duties ranging from clerical duties to selling/fitting patients in contact lenses and glasses (see outline of responsibilities for a more detailed description). All staff are responsible for obtaining knowledge to fill each position as needed throughout the day.
Experience is not needed as we are willing to train to right candidate. Most training will take place within the 90 day probation period, but may continue past as proper training takes time and we need an individual willing to learn and fully fulfill their duties. It is important the candidate be punctual and have minimal time off needed.
Starting hourly rate contingent upon experience. In order to qualify for this position you must include your resume, a cover letter, as well as 3 references.

Responsibilities and Duties
Duties and responsibilities contain but are not limited to the following:
Clerical Duties:
- Maintain organized workspace
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, pull insurance benefits, prepare charts for the next day
- Ensure patient is linked within the patient portal
- Scan and upload documents into patient files
- Answer emails
- File insurance claims in a timely manner both online as well as paper based claims
- Check patients in and out
- Assist patients in resolving issues
- Make dispensary orders for contacts and glasses
Technician Duties:
- Pretest and room patients
- Help with fitting of contact lens
Optician Duties:
- Assist patients in finding frames to properly fit
- Review lens options with patient as well as insurance benefits to help guide patient in what will best fit his/her needs
- Make dispensary orders for contacts and glasses
- Check products in and notify patients of orders received
- Maintain an organized workspace
Office Hours:
Monday: 9:00am-6:00pm
Tuesday: 9:00am-6:00pm
Wednesday: 9:00am-6:00pm
Thursday: 9:00am-6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Compensation:
Compensation is dependent on experience.
