Job Overview The Primary Position Wanted ,Is Someone that is familiar with Filing vision plans like VSP. Spectera, Superior and Medical insurances like Blue Cross, Humana, Medicare Novatas and others.
In this role, you will support the optometrist in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to patient management, clinical procedures, and administrative duties, all while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
- Handle billing processes including medical coding and insurance verification as needed.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices is a plus.
- Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic is advantageous.
- Background in optical or ophthalmology settings is desirable but not mandatory.
