Job duties will include:
- Conduct ophthalmic testing for patients including autorefraction, non-contact tonometry, retinal photography, and optical coherence tomography (OCT). Training to be provided.
- Assist with patient intake and medical history documentation
- Utilize medical office software (Revolution EHR) for patient record
- Assist the doctor in preparing referral and report letters to other medical providers
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion and removal techniques
- Assist with sending medication prescriptions and completing prior authorizations
- Sanitize equipment and maintain cleanliness and organization
--Cross-training on front desk and optical sales roles to assist other employees and cover those roles when needed throughout the workday.
