Systems Analyst
Location: Reno, NV (100% Onsite)
Role Type: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Systems Analyst with expertise in virtualization, Windows systems, and automation scripting. This role combines hands-on technical operations with project-focused tasks in our Reno facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations including compliance, security tasks, equipment racking, and cable work
- Develop and maintain VMware virtualization environments
- Create and execute automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Implement security best practices across all projects
- Configure and manage Cisco UCS and Dell servers
- Travel to project sites as needed
Required Experience/Skills
- Proven experience with VMware virtualization
- Windows systems administration proficiency
- Python automation scripting capabilities
- Security and compliance knowledge
- Experience with Cisco UCS or Dell servers (Cisco UCS preferred)
- Ability to develop scripts from scratch
- Strong teamwork and mentoring skills
Nice-to-Haves
- SCADA or controls experience
- Configuration management tool knowledge
- PowerShell scripting expertise
Working Conditions
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Location: 100% onsite in Reno, NV
- Environment: Technical operations center
- Travel: Occasional project site visits
