Responsibilities/Job Duties/Job Description/Qualifications:
We are seeking a motivated and Systems Analyst to join our team in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization, Windows systems, and automation scripting, and contributing to project-focused tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day operations, including compliance and security tasks, equipment racking, and cable work.
- Develop and maintain virtualization environments using VMware.
- Write and execute automation scripts using Python and PowerShell.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in all projects and operations.
- Manage and configure Cisco UCS and Dell servers.
- Potential travel to other project sites as needed.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with VMware virtualization.
- Proficiency in Windows systems administration.
- Automation scripting skills, particularly in Python with PowerShell being a plus.
- Knowledge of security practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Cisco UCS or Dell server platforms. (Cisco USC preferred)
- Ability to write and develop scripts from scratch.
- Excellent team player with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Preferred Skills:
- SCADA or controls experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools.
Work Schedule:
- Onsite in Reno, NV at least 3 days a week (Tuesday- Thursday)
