Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classroom management and behavior management, with experience in early intervention strategies. This role involves working with preschool and toddler-aged children in a private school setting, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of preschool and toddler-aged students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere.
- Conduct standardized testing as required to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Provide support for special education students, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive educational community.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their child's development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Requirements
1. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (or working toward one) in Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
2. Skills & Abilities
- Strong classroom management and behavior management skills.
- Ability to create and lead engaging activities in subjects like STEM, arts & crafts, sports, or other enrichment areas.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children.
3. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage students in structured and free-play activities.
- Implement lesson plans and educational activities (if required).
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Communicate with parents and staff regarding student progress and concerns.
- Follow all program policies and safety guidelines.
