WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SPECIAL KIND OF NUTRITION PROGRAM MANAGER FOR OUR PATIENTS IN RESIDENTIAL EATING DISORDER TREATMENT.
Our Assistant Nutrition Program Manager:

- QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion or in-progress of Bachelor’s degree in relation to Nutrition/Dietetics and/or Foodservice, including:
- Nutrition counseling
- Nutrition education
- Food/Nutrition Science
- Minimum 2 years experience with management and/or team leadership
- Current or in progress ServSafe certification
- Minimum 2 years experience with Google platform applications
- Minimum 1 year experience with EHR (electronic health record) applications
- ROLE OF ASSISTANT NUTRITION PROGRAM MANAGER
- Hire, train and develop nutrition assistant (diet tech) staff
- Ensure detailed and timely documentation, including: staff scheduling, projects, staff meetings, procedure compliance.
- Lead and direct supported meals, including plating, monitoring meal completion, redirecting behaviors and inappropriate topics of conversation
- Support dietetics staff members as they manage the specifics of meal completion/supplementation, time-management of meals, and behavior redirection.
- Monitor and maintain a clean kitchen environment
- Organize, develop and implement food service tasks for the safety and efficiency of staff members and patients.
- Responsible for managing tasks such as recipe development, creating weekly menus, meal planning, grocery shopping, managing kitchen inventory, upholding sanitation standards.
- Communicate important and relevant information/changes between Registered Dietitians, other treatment team staff, and nutrition assistant/diet techs in a timely manner.
- Participate in care coordination, including multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Maintain appropriate and timely contact with members of the treatment team including Clinical Dietitians, and Clinical Therapists.
- Provide milieu support to provide positive modeling and to help patients abstain from eating disorder behaviors.
- Physical Limitations:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs
- Must be able to lift up 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Computer & Equipment Skills:
- Has good general knowledge of computer operations; uses a keyboard and calculator proficiently and with a high degree of accuracy
- Uses Microsoft Office Word and Excel as well as Internet and email programs proficiently, including Google platform applications such as google docs, sheets, forms, slides, etc
- Uses typical office equipment
