Job Description:
Bright Talent, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Specialist to lead our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs that promote a safe and healthy work environment.
This role requires a strong understanding of EHS regulations, laws, and industry best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety risks, develop and implement training programs, and conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement projects that improve EHS performance and reduce risks.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS activities, including injury/illness rates, audits, and inspections.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in EHS roles with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations and standards.
- Proven experience in leading safety programs, conducting safety audits, and managing EHS compliance and risk management.
