The Opportunity:. BrightBee has a new partner in the Southwest Metro area looking for folks willing to commit to a longer term multi-day role as an afterschool program Group Leader. Schedule would be Monday-Thursday approximately 2-6 PM (some flexibility is available with start time). Ideal candidates will be responsible for the implementation of varied activities including educational, life skills, cultural and recreational services for at-risk youth enrolled in an after-school 21st Century Community Learning Center. This is great opportunity for someone with experience in youth programming who is excited about serving the local community. There is an opportunity for consultants to be offered permanent employment roles with the partner if they are interested.

Who You Are:
An individual with a genuine enthusiasm for working with children and youth along with alignment to our mission of supporting workers, students, and schools while promoting academic success.
- High school diploma and experience in youth education/programming or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to interact with parents, teachers, and other professionals to identify and provide for the needs of youth with regards to social services, recreational/cultural activities, and education.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the assigned site, required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with teachers, students, and school staff.
- Dependability and punctuality are vital for fulfilling on-demand job opportunities efficiently.
Prior to working with students, you will need to pass a fingerprint background check and TB test, and may need to obtain other necessary testing/clearances. Rest assured, we will guide you through the process!
