Job description: Field technicians are responsible for window cleaning and power washing.
Washing windows includes the use of a ladder for windows up to three stories high. Other equipment includes use of a water fed pole when necessary. As a company, and as individuals, we NEVER LEAVE A WINDOW BEHIND! Where there is a will, there is a way, and there is ALWAYS a way. The basic window cleaning service includes cleaning the window, the frame, wiping out all tracks, and ensuring there are no drips or proof that you were there around the window or on the floor.
Field technicians must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in all kinds of weather. If the customer will allow us to do the work and there is not a safety concern, we work. This position requires you to stoop, kneel, climb, and reach. It is recommended technicians have good balance and not be afraid of heights. Field technicians must also be able to lift heavy equipment.
All training is provided by Brighter Days. We appreciate an individual looking to grow with our company as there is much upward mobility available for the right individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Must understand, communicate, and embody company vision, mission and company verse.
- Must be in Brighter Days uniform including clean BD’s hat, shirt, and choice of pants or shorts each day.
- Must ensure company vehicles are kept clean, organized, and adequately stocked with window cleaning supplies at all times.
- Keep equipment organized by company standards
- Must be able to walk a job, analyze needs, and give a quote to customers following Brighter Days quoting and sales procedures.
- Must be able to remove dirt and grime, bug droppings, construction materials, calcium buildup and oily and sticky substances from windows and glass surfaces.
- Ensure that all window cleaning and lifting equipment are in good working order and all equipment is accounted for before leaving each job site.
- Must be able to work with ladders, water fed poles, blades, and power washing equiptment.
- Operate pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean a variety of surfaces.
- Operates water fed poles and can adequately troubleshoot potential issues to ensure quality.
- Appropriately clean up after each job to ensure there is no residue, dirt, or water spots left behind.
- Be able to work alone as well as with a team.
- Follow communication procedures.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are always obeyed.
- Must attend all company team meetings and stay up to date on all information covered through calls and text messages.
- Must be willing to work until the end of all scheduled jobs unless prior notice is given to the office.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Be able to work 8 hours (overtime may be necessary to complete all jobs)
- Dress code
- Physical stamina to complete a minimum 40 hour work week of assigned jobs
- Attend mandatory staff meetings
- The ability to work in all weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
