Summary
We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and dependable Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds during a critical stage of development. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, structured, and stimulating classroom environment where toddlers feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore and grow. A significant aspect of this role involves supporting toddlers through the potty-training process, helping them develop confidence and independence.

Duties
*Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
*Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
*Supervise and interact with toddlers in a loving and responsive manner
*Communicate effectively with parents and team members
*Guide toddlers through daily routines including diapering, feeding, and potty training
*Encourage and support children as they learn independence and self-help skills
*Maintain accurate records of developmental milestones and potty-training progress
*Follow all DSS regulations and center policies
Requirements
*High school diploma or GED (required)
*Experience working in a licensed childcare center (preferred)
*Knowledge of potty training strategies and toddler development
*Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with children at their level
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*Must complete state-required childcare training (can be completed upon hire)
*CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
*Background check required
