Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment
- Observe and assess children's development and behavior
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Encourage social interaction and cooperative play among infants and toddlers
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18 years old or over
- Able to pass a drug test
- Able to pass a background test
- Willingness to obtain higher education in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience working with toddlers in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children
Nice To Haves
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Associate in ECD, ECD certificate or CDA
- Over 1 year experience working with young toddlers in child care setting
