Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience working on mechanical systems comprised of motors or electromechanical components.
- Design experience for Motion or Gantry systems.
- Experience designing electromechanical, motion, or optical systems.
- Experience with precision mechanics.
- Experience troubleshooting.
- Experience managing projects from concept to production.
- Experience picking parts and working with contract manufacturers.
- Experience in the entire lifecycle from design phase to manufacturing/production.
- Experience with mechatronics is a huge plus (coding in C or controls engineering).
- Exposure to working with cross-functional teams such as electrical on PCB, wiring, and electrical components.
