Brightland Homes, LTD. is seeking a Corporate Closing Coordinator to support the finance department with land and lot closings.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
Submit land and lot closing requests
Monitor current lot closings
Work closely with divisions to monitor the timing of starts and required takedowns
Work closely with the land departments to monitor the timing of future land and lot contracts and closings
Attend Division starts meetings as needed
Review title commitments (TC) and obtain TC approvals for land and lot closings
Review and approve settlement statements for land and lot closings
Review and bookmark land and lot contracts
Translate financial concepts within land and lot contracts into Excel using a consistent methodology
Maintain takedown schedule for finished lot option contracts
Request funds to close land and lot closings
Follow, support, and recommend improvements to the established closing process
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Verifiable intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Accurate in settlement statements and related computations, primarily in Excel
Able to regularly compile and analyze numeric information and perform mathematical/algebraic calculations to receive an accurate result
Proven track record of providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Accurate and timely in the completion of work
Excellent attention to detail
Able to develop and maintain positive and cooperative work relationships
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Comfortable with a high volume of work
Able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Able to learn quickly through training and self-teaching
Accurate in mathematical computations
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of HUD review process
Experience in the homebuilding industry, especially in the areas of land purchase contracts, title commitments and settlement statements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
