- Evidence-Based Curriculum Delivery: Deliver evidence-based prevention curriculum in multiple school districts, engaging students in learning activities designed to promote healthy behaviors and prevent substance abuse.
- Program Fidelity: Ensure fidelity of program delivery by following established protocols and completing required fidelity forms, maintaining consistency and quality in program implementation.
- Lesson Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare lessons, including gathering teaching tools and resources, to facilitate effective and engaging classroom sessions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document all services provided and submit monthly reports, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting of program activities and outcomes.
- Training and Technical Assistance: Provide training and technical assistance to various stakeholders, including educators and counselors, to support effective curriculum implementation and address emerging challenges.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with educators and counselors on curriculum implementation and problem behaviors, offering guidance and support to enhance program effectiveness.
- Meeting Participation: Participate in meetings and provide necessary feedback, contributing insights and recommendations to inform program planning and improvement efforts.
- Training Attendance and Records Maintenance: Attend required trainings and maintain records of professional development activities, ensuring ongoing skill development and compliance with organizational requirements.
- Assessment and Referral: Conduct on-site assessments and make referrals as needed, identifying individuals in need of additional support and connecting them with appropriate resources.
- Resource Center Collaboration: Collaborate with the Resource Center to enhance prevention resources, leveraging available tools and materials to strengthen prevention efforts in the community.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain positive and professional relationships with stakeholders, including school personnel, community leaders, and partner organizations, fostering collaboration and support for prevention initiatives.
- Master's Degree in social work, counseling, public health, education, psychology, community development, public administration, or related field; OR Bachelor's Degree with at least one year of professional experience in a social service agency.
- At least two years of experience providing alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs prevention programming for youth.
- At least one year of experience as a site coordinator or similar role with primary responsibility for prevention program implementation.
