LVN NOC Shift (Full-Time)

Brighton Place Spring Valley is a 70-bed, 5-star rated facility located in Spring Valley. We are a standard nursing home, having a mix of short term and long term patients. We are looking for a full-time LVN Nurse (preferably with experience) to come onto our NOC (11pm-7am) shift on a 4-2 rotation.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist with medical imaging procedures and ensure patient safety during the process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient information, treatments, and medications.
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infection and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Assist in the coordination of patient care, including scheduling appointments and arranging for medical equipment or supplies.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Vocational Nurse in the state of {location}.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or a similar environment.
- Proficiency in medical coding, including knowledge of ICD-9 codes.
- Familiarity with medical equipment and devices (DME) used in patient care.
- Ability to perform catheterization procedures as needed.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus.
