- Evaluate System Performance: Conduct regular assessments of our electrical infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance overall performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering Team: Work closely with our engineers to develop and implement plans for system optimization, including load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and protective relay coordination.
- Drive Growth and Development: Identify opportunities for growth and development within our network, working closely with stakeholders to implement plans for expansion and upgrade.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Proven experience in electrical utility operations.
- Strong foundation in mathematical principles, including trigonometry, calculus, algebra, and analytic geometry.
- Familiarity with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories equipment or similar (desired).
- Valid New Mexico driver's license and commitment to adhere to company policies regarding substance abuse.
- Understanding of NERC and FERC regulations, with experience in SPP being a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
