Job Summary:
The role involves analyzing specifications, disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling injection and hot runner molds. The candidate will also be responsible for setting up workstations, operating shop tools, using measuring equipment, and ensuring clear communication between production and supervisors.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Mechanical and electrical experience in mold cleaning and repair.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, metrics, and measuring devices.
- Good housekeeping and process understanding.
Responsibilities:
- Organize work areas with the correct tools and documentation.
- Inspect, repair, and test molds for defects.
- Operate hand tools, ultrasonic cleaning, torque wrenches, drills, and saws.
- Ensure compliance with specifications using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Maintain maintenance schedules and cleanliness of equipment.
- Communicate progress with supervisors and production teams.
- Keep records as per SOPs and work instructions.
