Job Description
As a member of the Stack Testing Group, the Stack Testing Senior Project Manager will manage our Louisville, KY office which includes business development and the execution of source testing events at client’s facilities including preparation of materials and equipment needed to complete field activities. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with a can-do spirit and willingness to work hard in a team environment to achieve shared success.

Specific Duties
- Demonstrates and supports client’s core values
- Responsible for the quality of all Stack Testing deliverables generated in the Louisville, KY office and for developing and enforcing the use of department QA/QC standards and checklists, and compliance with company QA/QC protocols.
- Responsible for the timely delivery of all Stack Testing work products in accordance with mutually agreed upon project schedules.
- Interface with clients to assure positive business relationships are maintained.
- Develop new work with existing clients and develop new clients when given the opportunity by other Project Managers or Business Development
- Execute all field work to meet specified quality standards and methods required by the project-specific tasks.
- Collect, input, edit, and interpret field data, and complete necessary checklists and forms in both hard copy and electronic systems.
- Assist in the preparation of environmental reports and stack testing protocols.
- Conduct routine tasks independently.
- Ensure all instrumentation and equipment are calibrated and maintained.
- Drive company trucks, tow equipment and testing trailers, and keep them clean and orderly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
General Duties
- Ensure corporate safety policy and standards for a safe working environment are enforced.
- Support and enforce company HR policies.
- Maintain daily contact with members of the Emissions Testing Group and frequent contact with other technical groups of the company.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- 5 years (minimum) of hands-on stationary source testing (i.e., stack testing); experience operating stack testing equipment in both field and laboratory settings, and maintaining, transporting, and installing testing equipment
- A degree in an Environmental, Physical Science, or Engineering discipline and the following experience
- Excellent writing skills for preparing comprehensive work plans, site- specific test plans, Quality Assurance project plans, and test reports
- Experience with source level Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems and with the U.S. EPA Electronic Reporting Tool software a plus
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and supervise a field team during sampling activities and testing campaigns
- Work at elevated heights (>100 feet)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
- Strong field sampling, electrical, and mechanical skills
- Must have strong leadership, organizational, technical writing, and communication skills; and be experienced with standard office software including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license
- Qualified Source Testing Individual (QSTI) certification preferred
- Willingness to travel for extended periods of time
