Overview
The Manager of Training Design and Development role is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of various training solutions - including eLearning modules, virtual instructor-led training, online knowledgebases, job aids, etc. The Manager of Training Design and Development will lead a team of instructional designers, providing coaching and support to ensure impactful, learner-centered design. The Manager of Training Design and Development meets with leadership to identify gaps and avail effective solutions that improve performance of employees at all levels of the business, supporting overall business success.
Responsibilities
Management & Leadership :
- Maintains day-to-day responsibilities of the instructional design team, ensuring projects are executed smoothly, efficiently, on time, and in budget
- Certifies that there is consistency in the quality of training solutions launched by the department
- Provides regular feedback and coaching to their team to ensure ongoing development and growth
- Conducts the tracking and reporting of the progress for all on-going training programs
- Manages vendor relations and ensures strong working partnerships with cross-functional teams
